New Release: Brandy - 'Two Eleven'


#Brandy Norwood has an entertainment career spanning nearly 20 years and has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide; the actress, singer, songwriter, spokesmodel and record producer is now 'putting it down' with the release of her latest album. Brandy released her debut self-titled album at the age of 15 in 1994; and now with new label RCA Records, she has released today her sixth album entitled "Two Eleven". The title of the album represents both her Brandy's birthday, and the day her mentor and icon Whitney Houston passed on February 11th, 2012.

Monday night Brandy performed for her official 'Two Eleven' release concert to a sold-out crowd in New York City, at the Best Buy Theater, where midway through her set she pays tribute to her friend, mentor and biggest inspiration – Whitney Houston. Watch video of her performance inside...

New Music: Brandy Ft. Chris Brown - 'Put It Down'


Brandy released her new single "Put It Down" featuring Chris Brown who is not singing, but rapping on the track. This is the lead single for her upcoming album 'Two Eleven' which will be her first release on RCA/Chameleon Records. The record is produced by Bangladesh and Sean Garrett.

VH1′s Behind the Music: Brandy aired last night. The documentary, walks us through the eventful life and career of the R&B songstress, who’s remained in the public spotlight for the best part of 17 years.

The episode, which you can watch in full below, traces back to Brandy Norwood's childhood and early love for Gospel singing, which eventually lead to a deal with Atlantic Records, her rapid rise to success with her quadruple-platinum self-titled debut album, and being taken under Whitney Houston‘s wing and everything that surrounded her status as America’s Sweetheart through the ’90s....

Brandy and Monica hit up Power 105.1 yesterday in NYC for an interview with Charlamagne, DJ Envy & Angela Yee. Brandy's discussed cold career & car accident and how social media causes the pain of the accident to never go away.

Both revealed where they were when they received the news Whitney Houston died and how the late 'Queen of Pop' influenced their lives. They talked marriage, boyfriends and STALKERS! Brandy and Monica pretty much talked about everything they have been up too in the last few years.

Well, it's finally here! There has been anticipation since word got out about Monica and Brandy hooking up for another super duet, to follow up their smash hit released in 1998 'The Boy is Mine' and that is something of a challenge to match up to, considering it's only been....14 years! The new track 'It All Belongs To Me' has the time gap written all over it, as it is completely different, not what I would have expected. The mid-tempo track is produced by Rico Love and you can hear that the two ladies have not only mature as women, but also vocally.....

Brandy Hints at Drake Collaboration



Brandy’s duet with Monica isn’t the only collaboration to look forward to on her upcoming album. The R&B songstress is set to record a song penned by Drake.
Brandy is a fan of the Young Money rapper. “I love Drake. I think Drake is just so phenomenal. I love his music. I’m always wishing that I can just sing one of Drake’s melodies,” she told TrueExclusives.com before revealing that something is already in the works.
“Actually I might be doing a song that Drake wrote for the album this upcoming week,” she teased.
In a recent interview with Rap-Up.com, Rico Love spoke about recording a follow-up to “The Boy Is Mine” with Monica and Sean Garrett hinted at a surprise guest on a potential single he produced.
Brandy has also been in the studio with Frank Ocean, Bangladesh, Chris Brown, and others working on her sixth album, due this May on RCA/Chameleon Records.
