Kevin Durant Wants To Record A Rap Album

Kevin Durant entertains on the basketball court and may also entertain in the the music world, as a rapper. We've seen this before with professional ball player picking up the mic, and lets face it, it just simply is not a good look for most. Durant who is the youngest scoring champion in NBA history be joining the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson, Metta World Peace, Kobe Bryant, Chris Webber, and even a french rapping Tony Parker as NBA All Stars who forayed into the world of Rap.

At the tender age of 23-years-old Durant is one of the most talented young players the National Basketball Association has ever seen.  In a recent interview, it looks like Durant might take it a step further and put out a full length rap album.

“I enjoy doing a a lot of different things,” Durant tells the Washington Post. “I’m talented in a lot of different areas. Rapping is one of those things I just enjoy doing…I think I’m going to do something. I have some resources and some nice people that’s going to help me out. I have a studio in my house already. Maybe I might put out a little something and have a little something.”

Well, out of all the ballers listed above, in my opinion Shaq was the most successful, having released five studio albums and 1 compilation album. Shaq's 1993 debut album, Shaq Diesel, received platinum status (even I had copy back then!), and was featured alongside Michael Jackson as a guest rapper on "2 Bad," a song from Jackson's 1995 album HIStory. Looking back that was definitely an accomplishment!
