Russell Peters' Christmas Special

Popular Canadian comedian Russell Peters (Brampton - Holla!) will air his new hour long TV special entitled ‘A Russell Peters Christmas which premieres tonight Thursday December 1^st 9 p.m. est on CTV and on The Comedy Network December 10^th at 10 p.m. Featured quests on ‘A Russell Peters Christmas’ will included: Pamela Anderson, Michael Bublé, Scott Thompson, Jon Lovitz, Faizon Love, Ted Lange, Goapele and others.

Russell is from Indian background and tells the Toronto Sun... "In all fairness, I wouldn't want another coloured Santa," Peters continues. "I want a white Santa. I want a big, fat, white Santa Claus. You can't have a brown guy with a long beard sneaking into your house and leaving packages. You're calling the bomb squad immediately."

Russell Peters’ style of comedy which based on poking fun and making light of different cultures; which seems fitting as Canada is very multicultural and diverse nation, has made Peters well-known around the world.

Next up for the Toronto area native is the release of the movie ‘New Year’s Eve’. There is a ton of A-list actors including Halle Berry and Robert De Niro. The movie is set to be out in theaters December 9^th in Canada. He will also be in the road in 2012 on a world tour, with dates to be posted soon.

Well Russell, you surely have come a long way from roaming the halls of BMG picking up as much free promo CD’s as you could find as I recall, to becoming an international name in entertainment. Good job Russell!
