Melyssa Ford entertainment career began in the late 1990’s when
she spotted by fellow Toronto native, music video director Little X (known as ‘X’)
while Ford was working as a bartender at a Toronto nightclub, and as they
say...the rest is history, or in Melyssa's case ‘herstory’. Melyssa has appeared in a number of men’s
magazines - including King and Maxim; television - including Soul Food,
Entourage, The Game, and more. Ford film work includes Turn It Up, Three Can
Play That Game, and most recently Think Like A Man. I say, for any one working
in the entertainment industry, your career is incomplete if you have not
appeared in a video game; and Jessica Rabbit has jumped that hurdle with an appearance in the
video game Def Jam Icon!
Melyssa is nicknamed after the animated film character Jessica
Rabbit, due to the resemblance in voluptuous figure, which made Miss Ford one
of highest paid video vixens to date. Ford has been featured in music videos
such as “Northern Touch” - Rascalz, “Let’s Ride” - Choclair, “Big Pimpin” -
Jay-Z, “Knock Yourself Out” - Jadakiss, and more.
Melyssa is not only known for her beauty in the
entertainment industry for being one of the US top urban models, TV
personalities, but also for her work in social awareness as a philanthropist, in addition having studied at Toronto’s York
University in Forensic Psychology, and recently completing a real estate
program with full service luxury real estate group in New York Blu Realtor Group. Melyssa reportedly assisted founder and mentor Alon Chadad in closing sale on a $15 million property in New York’s
Central Park area.
