The CEO and president of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Tim Leiweke says he and his team are planning a major facelift, that will include a new look and new colours; and says Drake will be heavily involved this the transforming and re-branding efforts, which will proceed over the next two seasons.
But that's not all...also announced today Toronto will play host to the NBA All-Star weekend 2016 (brap brap!!). The 2014 NBA All-Star will be held in New Orleans, and New York will host the 2015.
Speaking at a press conference this morning along aside Toronto's mayor Rob Ford and Toronto Raptors GM Masai Urji, Drake says he wants "to do everything in my power increase the brand and just grow the franchise...I really just want excitement for this team. I want us to be one of the biggest teams in the league."
