Last night in Charlotte, North Carolina Aretha Franklin perform at a private concert at the McGlohon Theatre. The Queen of Soul pay tribute to her Goddaughter Whitney Houston with a opening rendition of 'I Will Always Love You'....(I have never heard it sung this way and was very touching.)

Aretha closed the number by saying: "Pray for her family, her mother, she was a daughter, a wife, a christian, a singer, a dear family friend."

Private funeral arrangements are reportedly bring made for this Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey.
She sounded so sad :(
