New Release: Brandy - 'Two Eleven'

#Brandy Norwood has an entertainment career spanning nearly 20 years and has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide; the actress, singer, songwriter, spokesmodel and record producer is now 'putting it down' with the release of her latest album. Brandy released her debut self-titled album at the age of 15 in 1994; and now with new label RCA Records, she has released today her sixth album entitled "Two Eleven". The title of the album represents both her Brandy's birthday, and the day her mentor and icon Whitney Houston passed on February 11th, 2012.

Monday night Brandy performed for her official 'Two Eleven' release concert to a sold-out crowd in New York City, at the Best Buy Theater, where midway through her set she pays tribute to her friend, mentor and biggest inspiration – Whitney Houston. Watch video of her performance inside...

Norwood spoke about the title saying: "Some of the titles I was working with were Rebirth, Reincarnation, Reinvention, Resurrection ...I just felt like Two Eleven describes all of that. It’s the day I was born, and each year, I evolve and change with time, It also has a whole new meaning to it because I gained my angel. My icon is my angel now. It’s all tied in there and I just think it best represents who I am and the responsibilities I have moving on."

'Two Eleven' features production collaborators  including Timbaland , Bangladesh , Mario Winans, and others; songwriting credits from Frank Ocean, Chris Brown, and Drake.
