Justin Smith aka Just Blaze out of Paterson, New Jersey and CEO of Fort Knocks Entertainment also discusses Canadian composer, pianist and writer of musical theatre Galt MacDermot and his influence on music....who is known for film soundtracks including Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970) and Hair - the musical (1967); who also put out jazz and funk albums, also classical music. MacDermot music has been sampled by many hip-hop artists including Special Ed, Run DMC, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, and Foxy Brown.
