NEW MUSIC: Eddie Murphy ft. Snoop Lion - 'Redlight'

We know reggae music is one of most influential music in the world, for very good reason, (I'm not saying that just because of my Jamaican background), the music embraces everyone; with it's rhythms and messages; which recently influenced well-known hip-hop artist Snoop Dog, who now goes by the name Snoop Lion - signifying his musical cross-over to reggae music, and spiritual transformation to rastafari culture. Snoop has enlisted a major Hollywood star known for his multi-talents which includes singing, but who knew legendary comedian Eddie Murphy could belt out a reggae tune!?

NEW MUSIC: Snoop Lion - 'Here Comes The King' ft. Angela Hunte

By now, most have heard of @SnoopDogg tranformation to #SnoopLion and his new sounds on the track 'La La La'. The West Coast rapper has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, and taps into his Rastafarian side on the Major Lazer-produced track, the second single “Here Comes The King” featuring Angela Hunte off of his upcoming album, Reincarnated, which follows the documentary of the same title, which debuted Sept. 7 at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In an interview Snoop said “Anytime the spirit calls you, you gotta know that it's serious and it's real....When the spirit called me, it told me to find something that was connected towards the Bob Marley's spirit. Because I've always said that I was Bob Marley reincarnated.” *Interesting*

The Wu-Tang Clan and Jimmy Fallon's house band (legendary hip hop band - reppin' hip hop to the fullest) The Roots, helped the Killa Bees bring the ruckus to the stage to perform "Six Directions of Boxing" the group's track to the soundtrack album for RZA's directorial debut, The Man With the Iron Fists. RECAP: Carl Thomas “Don’t Kiss Me” f/ Snoop Dogg

Carl Thomas was a breath of fresh air when he first came out back in the late 90's with his single smash hit 'I Wish' and then with his debut album Emotional which was released in 2000. He released a second album a few years later entitled Let's Talk About It............and then he faded out. This was really upsetting because there aren't too many true R&B crooners around.
