Robin Thicke Vs. Marvin Gaye

Connecting the New & Old School one again; with controversies surrounding Robin Thicke’s hot summer track ‘Blurred Lines’. As family of the legendary Marvin Gaye and Bridgeport Music (which owns some of Gaye’s compositions) says Thicke and producer Pharrell Williams have copied compositions of Marvin’s 1977 hit song "Got to Give It Up" and two more songs; alleging Thick’s song ‘feels’ or ‘sounds’ the same.

Robin Thicke has filed legal papers yesterday to protect his work noting in Billboard Biz article “he has the utmost respect for and admiration of Marvin Gaye, Funkadelic and their musical legacies, reluctantly file this action in the face of multiple adverse claims from alleged successors in interest to those artists.”

Listen to Marvin's song inside...What do you think…did Robin Thicke and Pharrell rip-off the late great Marvin Gaye’s music? Please chime in….
