You may have heard by now, of the return of
#MichaelJackson via hologram at the 2014 #BBMAs
Billboard Music Awards, if you missed it, you can watch the performance here after the jump. The after death performance received mixed reviews, having some in tears, others in a daze of amazement, and others calling it 'creepy'. Myself, honestly as much as technology can be a wonderful thing that enhances lives even in the world of entertainment; I believe it would have been best to let the man rest - Michael Jackson barely was able to rest while he was living, and not long after the King of Pop passed, there was a movie release about the music icon....Just give it (him) and his family some time; in addition, I can't imagine what it was like (if the family) watch the performance! The
hologram was a step way up from the
Eazy E and O.D.B. hologram performance from last years Rock The Bells Festival, and the first hologram showing of
Tupac Shakur at the 2012 Coachella Festival....For what it's worth, the MJ holographic performance with a five-piece band and 16 dancers live onstage, to promo the newest single
"Slave To The Rhythm" off the MJ's
Xscape album was well done (can't imagine what it cost to put it all together). Here is information on the making of the
