First released during last month's NBA All-Star Weekend, the specially "Nike Air marked" Air Jordan III celebrates the 25th anniversary of Michael Jordan's historical free-throw line dunk during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, on which the Jumpman insignia was based on. Demand for the retro edition was such that most retailers were striped bare in a matter of minutes.
