Nas – ‘The Don’ Sets to Release 10th Album

Nasir Jones, aka Nasty Nas, aka - Nas is back with a new album entitled 'The Don' and word is he taking us back to lyrics and concepts similar to his 1996 release 'It Was Written'.

Nas has released eight consecutive platinum and multi-platinum albums since 1994 and it all began with His debut album Illmatic; which featured production from Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, L.E.S. and DJ Premier, as well as guest appearances from his father jazz musician Olu Daraand and Nas's friend AZ who is said to feature on his new album.

Illmatic is consistently ranked as one of the greatest LP's of all time - which may very well be  is my favorite hip hop album of all time.

Nas is about to drop his 10th album (count them) and is ready to make his return. The hip-hop veteran flashes a gold pinky ring on the black-and-white cover of his new single The Don. His upcoming album, which has already spawned the single “Nasty,” marks a return to his roots. When there is word on the release date for The Don, we will be sure to let you know.

Ohhhhh....I can't wait!!
